LEGO stickers don't always nail the colour match perfectly, but one fan's experience with a LEGO Speed Champions set takes it further than usual.
Photos of LEGO Speed Champions 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000, shared by ironmanthing on reddit, highlight a difference in colour in stickers between two copies of the same set. On one set, the stickers are a much lighter shade of pink, standing out against the dark pink LEGO elements.
"Got this set and the stickers didn’t match the box art or other redditors' sets," wrote the reddit user in their post. "Contacted LEGO and they said the pictures I sent of other sets were probably only looking correctly matched 'due to the lighting'.
"Here is a picture I took of the visible colour differences of the sticker sheets. I got these sets the day after each other from the same store and one had bad stickers and one had the good ones."
The second set of stickers matches the LEGO bricks more closely, as seen in the promotional images and the vast majority of reviews. It's perhaps worth keeping an eye out if you're yet to build 77241 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda S2000. As with any issues with incorrect or missing LEGO parts, your best course of action, if you think that the stickers you've got don't match the colour, is to contact the LEGO Group directly.
The company will typically send out replacement parts or stickers as you need them. We've seen it in action with sets like 21344 The Orient Express Train, where incorrect stickers were included in some of the earliest copies of the set.
