LEGO Speed Champions is going Back to the Future

LEGO Speed Champions will welcome 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future in 2026, recreating the iconic DeLorean.

Launching alongside 77255 Lightning McQueen comes another movie-themed LEGO Speed Champions set: 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future. Made up of 357 pieces and featuring two minifigures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly, it renders every film-accurate detail of the DeLorean across two potential versions.

The first is based on the first movie, complete with its unique lightning rod and the California number plate.

You can also choose to rebuild it into the flying version from the second movie, featuring Mr Fusion, an orange number plate, and sideways wheels. Switching between the two does require some rebuilding, similar to LEGO Creator 3-in-1 sets.

Whatever version you prefer to build, 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future includes rear air vents, a cockpit, the flux capacitor, and the time calculator. LEGO Speed Champions 77256 Time Machine from Back to the Future goes on sale from January 1, 2026, retailing at £22.99 in the UK, $27.99 in the US, and from €27.99 in Europe.
