Fresh LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog summer 2024 set rumours appear

More details regarding a rumoured LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set for summer 2024 have appeared, including its potential minifigure line-up.

Recent rumours suggest we may be getting at least three new LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog models this summer, that’s in addition to the recently-released 76995 Shadow the Hedgehog Escape and 76996 Knuckles’ Guardian Mech.

Instagram user fateful_lego is reporting fresh details on one of those previously rumoured builds, suggesting a possible revised release date and which minifigures may be included with the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set.

76998 Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine is now said to come with minifigures of both Knuckles and Amy. The characters have already appeared in minifigure form in 76992 Amy’s Animal Island Rescue, 76994 Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge and 76996 Knuckles’ Guardian Mech, but it’s possible the summer 2024 sets may feature updated versions of Sonic’s pals.

The report also confirms previous rumours of 76998 Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine coming in at $49.99 for 325 pieces, but adds that the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog model may launching sometime in August. 

In addition to 76997 Tails Adventure Boat, 76998 Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine and 76999 Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster potentially arriving this summer, the first-ever 18+ LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set may be coming in October with a 720-piece build. However, as with all of the information mentioned above, do treat this with speculation for now until confirmed by the LEGO Group.
