There are plenty of surprising details and secrets you may not have spotted lurking within a trio of upcoming LEGO Pokémon sets due to drop next month.
LEGO Pokémon was officially unveiled this week, with a first wave of three buildable figures launching online and in stores on February 27. Despite a variety of prices and piece counts, each of the models appears to faithfully recreate its chosen Pokémon in brick form, with some also featuring surprising details and secrets to discover within.
Take a look to see what else we've managed to find hiding within the three upcoming LEGO Pokémon sets below.
72151 Eevee

The most affordable LEGO Pokémon build being released next month is 72151 Eevee, priced at £54.99 / 59.99 / €59.99. While there’s certainly plenty to admire on the surface of the cute model, including a brand-new element, the set also contains something extra inside.

The full listing for 72151 Eevee states that fans will ‘discover a special surprise that highlights the Pokémon’s many Evolutions’ while assembling the set. While no images of what that might be have been revealed so far, it could be something as simple as a selection of two 1x1 studs representing the Pokémon’s eight different alternate looks, but that’s just speculation on our part for now.
72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball

The second largest release from the first wave of LEGO Pokémon models in 2026 is also one with a much deeper story to tell. For starters, 72152 Pikachu and Poké Ball features a black lightning rod-shaped base as a nod to the Pokémon’s electricity-based abilities, a display stand that also includes studs in the shape of a ‘25’ – Pikachu’s Pokédex number.

In addition, the LEGO Pokémon set comes with extra elements to add to the figure’s distinctive lightning-bolt tail, with the male version of Pikachu featuring a flat end and the female version boasting a heart-shaped look.
72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise

Topping out next month’s LEGO Pokémon sets in terms of price, piece count and sheer size is 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise. The final Evolutions of each Kanto starter can be placed on individual themed biome action bases that resemble each Pokémon’s type or combined for an epic display model.

Official details for 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise mention that the LEGO Pokémon set’s base also hides Easter eggs for fans to discover while constructing the model, but there are no additional details at this stage as to just what those might be. That could be a nod to the starter form of each Pokémon or possibly the Kanto region they're originally from, but we'll find out for sure once we have the sets in hand.
As well as the trio of LEGO Pokémon models mentioned above, the currently sold out 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection GWP free with 72153 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise is confirmed as returning on launch day. 40911 Mini Pokémon Center will also be available from the LEGO Insiders Rewards Centre for 2,500-point on that date, with the 233-piece set including its own secrets for fans to discover.
