LEGO Pick a Brick October 2024 range has a The Lord of the Rings gem

Hidden within the list of 900 parts coming to LEGO Pick a Brick starting later this week is a gem for LEGO The Lord of the Rings collectors.

To commemorate the release of 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr, a special limited-edition gift-with-purchase was launched in the form of 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast. You might have guessed it, but it sold out fast and included an exclusive Ringwraith minifigure using a printed torso not since found in any other model.

At the time of writing, this minifigure is listed at an average of £56.62 on BrickLink and the set itself is listed for an average of £101.79. Aside from the torso, the only exclusive part of this set is the wings and as you would expect, the minifigure is appealing on its own.

Thankfully, it's about to be a lot easier to pick up this minifigure without needing to splurge on a copy of 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast on the secondary marketplace. The October 2024 Pick a Pick parts assortment includes MINI UPPER PART, NO. 7114 with the element ID 6490187.

This is the Ringwraith's torso from the gift-with-purchase and while its price has not been confirmed, it's almost surely going to be less expensive than the minifigure or the set on BrickLink or other marketplaces.

These new pieces will land on Pick a Brick starting from October 9 but it's common for new elements to take a couple of weeks to launch in full on the service. Either way, expect this element to sell out fast just in case it's as popular as 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast was.
