There's a companion puzzle to LEGO Art 31213 Mona Lisa available to buy on the official online LEGO store, offering an alternative way to build the iconic artwork.
Announced back in June and available through Chronicle Books since October 22, you can now buy 5008976 Mona Lisa 1000-Piece Puzzle on LEGO.com for £17.99 / $18.95 / €19.99. The 1000-piece puzzle features four variants of the iconic Mona Lisa: one in the original colour scheme and then three more colourful variants. One features a moustache, one blowing a bubblegum bubble, and one with a floral headdress.
For just a fraction of the price of 31213 Mona Lisa – which comes in at £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 – you can build your own version of the beloved masterpiece, coming up 61cm long and51cm wide.
The full set name on LEGO.com – Masterpiece Puzzle: Mona Lisa 1000-Piece Puzzle – suggests that there could be room for a series of puzzles of masterpieces here. Considering LEGO Art is an ever-expanding theme, there's plenty of room for puzzle versions of the LEGO adaptations, offering a simpler and more affordable way to rebuild some of the world's most famous works of art.
