LEGO Minecraft 21265 The Crafting Table officially revealed, pre-orders open

LEGO Minecraft is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the block-based sandbox with a buildable icon from the game: 21265 The Crafting Table.

Now officially revealed by the LEGO Group, LEGO Minecraft 21265 The Crafting Table is an 18+ set that looks just like the very first thing most people will build in the digital game. The crafting table opens up a whole new world of crafting in the world of Minecraft and the LEGO set similarly has hidden depths to it.

The open-cube style of 21265 The Crafting Table includes eight microfigures and five mini-builds inside, featuring the 12 different Minecraft biomes, from the snowy plains to various forests with different tree types.

The microfigures recreate different characters from the game, including the two playable characters you start off as, Steve and Alex. There's also a creeper, a villager, a pig, a witch, a skeleton, and a cow, built in squat blocky format with brick-built stands to sit on. Stickered decorations in the style of the welcome messages from Minecraft appear along the front of the stands.

21265 The Crafting Table is available to pre-order now for £79.99 / $89.99 / €89.99, ahead of its actual release on August 1. Plus, a fresh wave of LEGO Minecraft sets just became available to buy.
