Life-sized LEGO Marvel 76209 Thor's Hammer now available

The LEGO Group is looking for worthy wielders of Mjölnir today as 76209 Thor's Hammer joins LEGO Marvel as the latest life-sized prop recreation.

LEGO Marvel has come a long way since the days of minifigure-scale Quinjets and Spider-Man movie sets with the theme embarking into the LEGO for Adults range relatively recently. Following the release of 76191 Infinity Gauntlet in 2021, the design team have come up with a larger recreation of an iconic weapon from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

76209 Thor's Hammer is that brick-built weapon, capturing the size and look of Mjölnir with official LEGO pieces, even down to the strap that uses a LEGO VIDIYO element.

As an 18+ LEGO Marvel set, this model is likely intended for display rather than play and includes a specialised base to balance the hammer on, with blue bricks representing lightning as it courses through the rockwork. A plaque is also featured with the original name of the weapon, keeping with the trend of other LEGO for Adults sets including a similar plaque.

We're still waiting on the delayed release of the LEGO Marvel mechs but in the meantime, you can find 76209 Thor's Hammer on the official online store for £104.99 / $99.99 / €119.99.
