LEGO Leeds and Sheffield Stores set to move to bigger locations

The official LEGO Stores in Leeds and Sheffield are both relocating to bigger spaces in Meadowhall Sheffield and Trinity Leeds this spring.

The LEGO Stores in Meadowhall Sheffield and Trinity Leeds are moving to bigger spaces this spring, increasing to 389 square metres in Sheffield and 456 square metres in Leeds. Both units will remain in the same shopping centres, just with more floor space to play with.

That means more room for the usual features of a LEGO Store, like the Pick a Brick Wall, Build a Minifigure Tower, and other displays that are updated to the latest releases and events.

“It’s brilliant to see The LEGO Store move to a larger unit within Meadowhall, giving fans of all ages an even bigger place to explore everything the brand has to offer," said Darren Pearce, centre director at Meadowhall. "The store has proved hugely popular with visitors for the last 15 years, and the move will mean shoppers can browse even more of the LEGO range and add to their collections.”

There are currently 24 LEGO Stores in the UK, with the most recent to open in Belfast last year. The official opening date of the new Sheffield and Leeds locations will be announced soon, along with details for in-store events.

“The LEGO Group’s move into a bigger location is fantastic news for our visitors," said Steven Foster, centre director at Trinity Leeds. "The relocation reflects the brand’s continued success at the centre and allows the LEGO Group to significantly enhance its offer. The increased space will bring a wider product range, more opportunities for creativity and a better shopping experience for families and fans of all ages.”
