The LEGO Ideas Snoopy set introduces a brand-new element as well as several recolours, which are sure to be useful across the portfolio.
While Snoopy is the star of
Woodstock and the grass at the base of the build uses a new tuft-style element, featuring three strands coming off a wider base that wraps around a stud connection. Whether this piece also has a short bar connection inside is unknown.
A standard stud connection would still be useful and make this piece applicable across a variety of themes. So far, we've seen it used for feathers and grass, but it would also look good in a few other sets. This includes the fries in
Uses in LEGO Botanicals may be limited due to the inherently cartoon-ish nature of this piece, but it will be interesting to see whether the designers can find a way to make the best possible use of the new part.
While the printed element is unlikely to arrive on Pick a Brick, we can only hope that the other recolours, as well as the tuft piece, arrive on the service a few months after
