LEGO Ideas results for first 2024 review officially announced

The LEGO Ideas team has announced which fan-designed project will become an official set, out of the 48 in the first review round from 2024.

LEGO Ideas designer Laura Perron took to the official blog to announce the next LEGO Ideas set: Dario (aka ddf72)'s Minerals Display. The set features six different geological pieces: rhodochrosite, amethyst geode, black tourmaline with aquamarine, orange quartz, emerald, and pyrite.

"Your amazing minerals completely dazzled us," said Laura. "We just loved the colours, textures, and the way you've used the bricks to create these jaw-dropping organic shapes. The combined effect of how they all come together is sure to brighten any home."

Dario has already responded to the announcement in the comments, writing: "I’m speechless – that’s amazing!!! Thank you all for supporting, to the LEGO and the mineral community, thanks to all the good friends I met along this wonderful journey! LEGO Rocks!!!"

This announcement brings the total of fan-designed creations in development at LEGO Ideas up to 13, including three gifts-with-purchase or Insiders Rewards. We're probably still a way off from seeing Minerals Display as an actual LEGO set and we could still see changes as the LEGO Ideas expert designers work their magic, in collaboration with Dario.
