LEGO Ideas grows once more thanks to two flora-based builds

A pair of plant-inspired collections have now made it into the first LEGO Ideas review of 2026, as the list of successful 10K submissions continues to grow.

The first LEGO Ideas review of 2026 has seen a burst of activity since it kicked off last month, with brick-built fan creations landing thick and fast. Now comes the arrival of two similar submissions from the same designer, both of which have managed to drum up 10K supporters each, and could easily give the LEGO Botanicals theme a run for its money.

First up is Hydroponic Collection from MagicBrick, with a 600-piece model that offers up four different blooms in transparent bottles. The build consists of a Japanese marimo, an elegant magnolia, lucky bamboo and pilea peperomioides, otherwise known as the ‘Chinese money plant.’

All four plants are housed in their own bottles that make the complete Hydroponic Collection appear to be sitting in water. The LEGO Ideas submission's intention is to reinterpret plants as living sculptures, with every detail designed to evoke style, balance and wonder of the natural world.

Next is Terrarium Collection – Miniature Ecosystems, also created by MagicBrick, which offers up four tiny flora species in brick form. Within each of the model’s transparent bottles sits one of four unique plants, which include Syzygium bonsai with vegetation and moss, orchid flowers, ficus bonsai, fern and flowering silver vase plant, as well as tropical plants moss and chamaedorea elegants.

Although designed to be one cohesive build, each Terrarium Collection – Miniature Ecosystems model can be displayed on its own, with the combined 850-piece set telling a story of growth, care and observation.

We’ll see if Hydroponic Collection and Terrarium Collection – Miniature Ecosystems continue to take root in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2026, with the results of which models have made it through the judging phase due later this year.
