Two more unique LEGO Ideas submissions have now joined the exclusive 10K club in the shape of Motorized Beating Heart and The Polar Express.
There’s just no predicting exactly where the next successful LEGO Ideas submission may come from or what subject matter such fan-made models might be based on. That’s certainly the case with a new design that has reached 10K supporters on the platform, as Anatomical_Brick’s Motorized Beating Heart is an eye-catching build to say the least.
Comprised of a LEGO Technic core, the scaled set utilises a pair of slider crack linkages and a scissor mechanism to change the width and height of the blocky heart. An external flexible surface made of rubber bands has been attached to the edges of the model’s frame, all of which is connected to a motor and battery pack to power its main function.
The result is an anatomically correct version of the human organ, with Motorized Beating Heart able to pulse at an impressive 55 beats per minute, while the model sits on its grey and black display stand.
The Polar Express leans into more standard fare, with the LEGO Ideas build being based on Robert Zemeckis’ 2004 animated movie of the same name and created by EMRE_04. The fan-made design consists of the 2-8-4 Berkshire steam locomotive attached to a tender and two brick-built cars, all sat on a lengthy section of track.
Similar in appearance to 21344 The Orient Express Train, The Polar Express offers up removable roofs on the observation and passenger cars, while the latter’s seats can rotate 180 degrees to simulate the films chocolate scene, and the LEGO Ideas build also comes with eight minifigures.
Time will tell if either Motorized Beating Heart or The Polar Express will make it any further in the first LEGO Ideas review of 2026, with the current line-up of fan designs to hit 10K listed below.
