LEGO Ideas launches a new activity ahead of International Women's Day

The LEGO Ideas team has put together a special activity to celebrate International Women's Day 2025, now less than a month away.

International Women’s Day falls on March 8, now just a few weeks away, and the LEGO Ideas team is getting into the spirit of the day. Builders are challenged to build something out of LEGO bricks that expresses what the day means to them in a new Ideas activity.

With the annual day aiming to champion the achievements of women, builds might want to focus on historical feats, modern-day triumphs, or more abstract representations of female power. The LEGO Ideas team suggests focusing on 'themes of solidarity, empowerment and strength in numbers'.

Other than that, the world is your brick-built oyster, with the activity open to sculptures, dioramas, slogans or art models. There are no restrictions on what you can build, so long as it uses LEGO bricks. Unlike some LEGO Ideas activities, there doesn't seem to be a prize for this challenge – simply open for the fun of it.

You can submit your entry and see the full rules and guidelines on the activity page. Submissions are open now and close on March 14.
