LEGO Icons 10366 Tropical Aquarium has been officially revealed, debuting a brick-built tank of underwater creatures and plants.
The LEGO Group has officially revealed 10366 Tropical Aquarium, bringing underwater creatures and plants to brick-built life in a 4,154-piece display, all enclosed in a transparent tank. The display-ready model won't come cheap, however, retailing at £399.99 in the UK, $479.99 in the US, and from €449.99 in Europe upon its release on November 13.
Within the tank, you'll be able to build and display four fish, coral, a crab, seaworms, an oyster shell, and sea snails, to name but a few of the watery features included. There are also a series of dials and cranks that help to mimic the movement of a real-life tank, sending the fish and plants moving and swaying within the container.
Geared towards adults, 10366 Tropical Aquarium offers a maintenance-free fish tank that never needs cleaning or feeding – only a bit of dusting. It follows in the footsteps of 21349 Tuxedo Cat in a small but growing collection of LEGO pets for those who want the look without the responsibility.
LEGO Icons 10366 Tropical Aquarium goes on sale on LEGO.com and in physical stores from November 13, retailing at £399.99 / $479.99 / €449.99.
