Thanks to the official Building Instructions page, we may have our first look at a new LEGO House Chef minifigure, the first since 2022.
The LEGO House is due to reveal this year’s exclusive set later this month, although there are still no hints as to what the 2025 model might be. Those looking to be there in person at one of two unveiling events for the mystery build can already book their tickets and pick up a signed copy on the day.
Future visitors may also want to check out the LEGO House restaurants while they’re in Billund, as a new promotional item might well be up for grabs. The official Building Instructions page has added a listing for 40790, a chef minifigure with a very familiar printed torso.

The minifigure may be a new version of the freebie available to kids who make their own Mini Chef meal at the LEGO House, with the last such set having been given away back in 2022. Five different chef minifigures have been released over the years, with each one sealed in its own clear polybag.
The Building Instructions page listing reveals that the upcoming minifigure has the same printed torso as the 2022 version, with tan legs replacing grey, a new male face with a grey moustache and a different selection of accessories.

With only one image of the chef minifigure currently available, we can’t tell if it will have the ‘LEGO House of the Brick’ print that appeared on the back of some previous versions, but that would be confirmation that the freebie has indeed finally returned.
If the chef minifigure is indeed a new LEGO House promotional set, it could well be available to attendees at the 2025 exclusive product launch events on February 28 and March 1. For now though, all of the above information is speculation on our part until official confirmation comes through.
