LEGO Horizon Adventures model available for free this weekend

Starting today and lasting over the weekend, you can get a free LEGO Horizon Adventures model by being in the right place at the right time.

Anyone who missed out on 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck before it retired might want to head to EGX / MCM in London this weekend as it's the location for the promotional LEGO Horizon Adventures build giveaway that was recently spotted on LEGO.com.

The event is hosting the first publicly-available demo of the next LEGO game from October 25 to 27 and tickets are still available at the time of writing, in case you want to head down to the event. Blocks magazine has revealed that the small Watcher set is being given away alongside a poster to anyone who plays the demo, likely while stocks last.

The 30-piece build depicts the common enemy as they appear in the Horizon games, but not drawing its design from LEGO Horizon Adventures. Instead, this is the same build as in the retired 76989 Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck. There are no exclusive elements, unlike the model from the 2024 Design Seminar.

Still, it's a great opportunity for anyone attending the UK event this weekend, in case anyone who needed more incentive to play the demo before the game launches on PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch on November 14.

Pre-orders for LEGO Horizon Adventures are open now and though there are no special editions physically, a digital edition with some exclusive PlayStation minifigure outfits is available to pre-order.
