LEGO Formula 1 helmets showcase new parts and printed pieces

Some championship new elements and printed pieces have made their debut in two LEGO Editions Formula 1 sets revealed today.

LEGO Editions will be adding a pair of Formula 1 builds to the theme’s expanding line-up on May 1, 2026, both of which were officially unveiled today. What’s more, the racing duo of 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet and 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet also include a number of impressive new parts and printed pieces that are worthy of a much closer look.

What should immediately grab Formula 1 fans are the eye-catching curved visor elements include in the LEGO Editions sets. While this brand-new part does have a few stickers to be placed on the front and sides, the trans-red version that comes with 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet is particularly striking, with that and 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet’s trans-black version having plenty of potential use in future sets.

The LEGO Editions Formula 1 helmets also come with wide curved side pieces at the base of each build, along with a long curved and sloped brick located underneath each visor that seems to sport its own print, printed curved hollow panels at the top rear of the models and stacked 5x5 plates to be found lurking underneath.

Speaking of prints, 43014 Scuderia Ferrari HP Charles Leclerc Helmet features such graphic details as Charles’ driver number, a tribute to his late father and a signature plaque, while 43022 Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet has its own driver number and plaque.

That unique printing continues with the first-ever Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton minifigures, boasting accurate faces, torso printing (with the drivers’ names on their backs), and printed legs, as well as what appear to be new hair pieces. We suspect there may be quite a few stickers in the LEGO Editions Formula 1 helmets too, but we won't know for sure until we actually have the sets in hand.
