The brickiest of them all

Of all the LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 sets,
While we joke about it being all red, care has also been taken to pick out the carbon fibre elements of the car, like the engine intake and front wing. Red accents and stickers are used here to show the red livery but it doesn't veer into simply making the entire car red.
Speaking of stickers,

It also means that making sure each side is symmetrical is a hard task, one that if not done right is glaringly obvious. The brick-built bodywork makes the build process fun but it does mean those stickered elements become that much tougher.
An anonymous yet familiar minifigure

None of the LEGO Speed Champions Formula 1 drivers are named but you'd be forgiven for thinking that the Ferrari one is a blend of 2024 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Between the chiselled cheekbones and dark hair, it could be one or both of them, meaning this is one set at least where fans won't be custom-building their favourite Formula 1 drivers.
The all-red legs and lack of arm printing leave out some of the details of the real-life driver suits but the detail of the minifigures are not the main appeal of a LEGO Speed Champions set anyway. The Prancing Horse on the torso and helmet is enough to know what team he drives for, and the white and orange racing stripes around the waist offer some idea of the real-life suit.
Proportionally accurate – for the most part

Looking at the profile of
The halo has also been adapted to be more suited to a brick-built model. When secured in place, the driver's head emerges slightly over the top of it. In real life, that would be both illegal and pointless for a Formula 1 car, with the halo there to stop a driver's head colliding with obstacles in the event of a crash. In this case, however, it allows for easier access to the driver and means you can actually see the face and helmet when placed inside the car.
All in all, those quibbles can be discarded when you zoom out and view the car as a whole. An engaging build experience results in a rewarding final display that knows which details are the most important for this to undeniably be a Scuderia Ferrari race car. For Ferrari fans wanting a little piece of racing history to display or for Speed Champions fans wanting one of the more unique builds from the entire 2025 wave,
