A newly-engaged LEGO fan popped the question using a specially-designed box – including a brick-built secret compartment.
Burger_Freeman shared their romantic build on Reddit, which looks like a brick-built box containing only a LEGO gem – at first glance. After a closer look, the build also contains a hidden compartment below the top one, where the real treasure was concealed.
This is where the Redditer hid the engagement ring before the proposal and seemed to use the brick-built container to pop the actual question. Thankfully, they shared her response in the caption of the post.
"I just proposed to my GF. She said yes!!" reads the excited post, prompting various congratulations from other members of the LEGO Reddit. One other Reddit user also asked for the instructions, which were fairly straightforward.
"It's a pretty simple build on a 6x6 plate with a loose drawer, another 6x6 plate on top making the floor for the top compartment that closes with another 6x6 with hinges," replied Burger_Freeman.
Congratulations to the happy couple – and cue other romantic, LEGO-themed proposals as we get closer and closer to Valentine's Day...
