The LEGO Group’s annual April Fool’s Day prank saw the company commission and reveal a new set, but with a twist.
April Fool’s Day has come and gone for another year and just like in 2022, the LEGO Group partook in the annual day of pranks and jokes (but not from Brick Fanatics). This year saw the ‘reveal’ of a new set named 010423 The Majestic Horse, which was sent to LEGO enthusiasts to take an early look. That set number might not be a good sign for those that like the animal model.
Those who received the set discovered that the provided pieces didn’t make up exactly what was advertised with the front of the horse replaced by a pair of stylish shoes and a dog head.
As is to be expected from an April Fool’s joke, this is not a real set and will not be releasing. Following the announcement, the minds behind this build revealed themselves as Steve Guinness and Nate Dias of LEGO MASTERS UK.
While there’s likely no chance of 010423 The Majestic Horse releasing in the future, you can pick up quite a few new LEGO sets from the official online store now, but some are out of stock.
