LEGO Editions 43019 Football sticker mistake spotted

LEGO Editions 43019 Football sticker mistake spotted

Images of the newly revealed LEGO Editions 43019 Football reveal an apparent sticker mistake on the upcoming set.

43019 Football includes a sticker on the side of the ball with details about the set, as well as an apt reminder not to kick it once built. It might be in need of a reprint, however, as the sticker states that the LEGO Editions set includes 1,497 pieces.

That's contrary to what both the box and the press release state, with those sources giving a piece count of 1,498 pieces. It's a small difference, but notable considering a sticker with the piece count isn't common practice for LEGO sets. The box images are usually the safest bet when it comes to piece count discrepancies, so we'd hazard a guess that the larger number is the correct one here.

It may be that the sticker is only accounting for the piece count of the football itself, and not an included brick separator, which the overall set's piece count would include. A brick separator is not pictured in official imagery, but they usually aren't.

If it is a mistake that ends up in purchased sets, the LEGO Group is usually quick to offer replacement stickers once the mistake has been amended. All you need to do is contact the LEGO Group's customer service if you find an incorrect sticker in your copy of 43019 Football, or indeed any other set.

We saw the LEGO Group take several steps to amend a series of typos on stickers in LEGO Icons 10356 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D in November of last year, for example.

LEGO Editions 43019 Football will be available to buy for £99.99 / $129.99 / €119.99 from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores upon its release on March 1, 2026.
