A fresh rumour sets up a LEGO Disney castle set, hot on the heels of the freshly-released 43222 Disney Castle.
According to 1414falconfan on Instagram, we now have a rumoured set name number, price, piece count and possible release date for an upcoming LEGO Disney set. 43224 Castle is believed to cost $99.99 at 613 pieces, due for an October release. While the simple 'Castle' is likely not the final name, it leaves a lot of room for interpretation. Disney is home to princes, princesses, and royals of all sorts, so there are plenty of castles to choose from.
It seems unlikely that it would be another Disney Castle so soon after the release of 43222 Disney Castle. However, it is much smaller, so could be a smaller-scale version of the iconic building to suit smaller budgets.
On the other hand, other rumoured LEGO Disney sets for the same month are centred around Wish, an origin story for the shooting star that arcs over the Disney castle at the beginning of the studio’s movies. Wish sees 17-year-old Asha also living in a castle, so it could easily be a representation of her home.
Indeed, it could theoretically be any Disney castle. The world is truly the LEGO Disney designers' oyster at this point. At the moment, none of this information is confirmed by the LEGO Group, so we'll need to wait until we hear officially to know for sure.
