LEGO Disney 40708 Mini Disney Ariel’s Castle details and pricing confirmed

Details and pricing for another upcoming LEGO Disney 2024 set have now been confirmed, with 40708 Mini Disney Ariel’s Castle arriving January 1.

Eight LEGO Disney sets due to launch in 2024 were recently revealed, with the majority of the Disney princess-themed builds arriving as soon as next month. Listings for five of those magical models have already been added to the line-up of sets coming soon to LEGO.com and now they’ve been joined by yet another imminent release.

40708 Mini Disney Ariel’s Castle is a 557-piece build that will be released on January 1 and priced at £34.99 / $39.97 / €39.99. The model includes a brick-built recreation of King Triton’s castle, boasts numerous gold elements and underwater features, plus a mini doll of Ariel herself. The buildable playset is based on the 1989 animated classic, The Little Mermaid, and not the more recent live-action version of the character.

40708 Mini Disney Ariel’s Castle follows in the footsteps of 40613 Mini Disney Palace of Agrabah, although that particular set had the distinction of not including any minifigure or mini doll characters whatsoever. Regardless, both sets should make for fun display pieces, especially when placed beside 40478 Mini Disney Castle and 40521 Mini Disney The Haunted Mansion.

40708 Mini Disney Ariel’s Castle will be swimming its way online and into stores on January 1, 2024 for £34.99 / $39.97 / €39.99.
