LEGO City rumoured to get a D2C set this summer

LEGO City's summer wave could include a D2C that would height to your brick-built urban landscape, according to the latest rumours.

According to fresh rumours from LSWSA – a new rumour source that has been corroborated by the usually reliable ClayBricks – LEGO City could be about to welcome a relatively rare D2C set this summer. 60473 The City Tower is said to be coming in June this year, although no further details are circulating just now.

The name gives a sense of height that previous LEGO City buildings haven't dug into. While we have had multi-storey builds in the theme, like 60365 Apartment Building, and some towering models like 76269 Avengers Tower, this could be an interesting new area for the theme to explore.

Without any rumours about a price or piece count, it's hard to say how big or tall this set could be. However, there's certainly the hope that it could be a LEGO City take on a skyscraper, adding new verticals for LEGO cityscapes to explore.

Of course, none of this is confirmed just now and we'll have to wait for an official reveal from the LEGO Group to know for sure what's coming.
