Closer look at LEGO Build a Minifigure spring 2026 selection

A much clearer look at the next lot of LEGO Build a Minifigure parts has been revealed, confirming another animal costume minifigure to collect.

Hopefully, you're nearly done collecting all of the animal costume minifigures in 71051 Series 28 Animals, as there's going to be another costumed character for collectors to pick up in 2026. Twogayafols has Instagram has shared a closer look at the LEGO Build a Minifigure Spring 2026 parts, after they were spotted on the official online store yesterday.

After the birthday-centric elements launched recently, you can expect to find these parts in LEGO stores with Build a Minifigure stations from March 1, 2026. The minifigures made up of the parts include a flower woman, a chick costume boy and a mushroom girl who closely resembles the Mushroom Sprite from 71045 Series 25.

The flower woman has a fresh dress print as well as a brand-new recolour of that flower headgear, which has otherwise only appeared in light blue, magenta and dark purple.

The mushroom girl brings the mushroom headgear back since its last appearance in the older minifigure series, and this piece will go perfectly with both of the mushroom BrickLink Designer Program models.

The chick costume is a new take on the 2022 Build a Minifigure character with uniform eyes and standard arms, allowing him to fit more seamlessly with the other animal costume minifigures. Remember that you are free to mix and match the parts of these minifigures to amass up to three of each element in a single Build a Minifigure box.

Look forward to these new LEGO minifigure parts launching in your local LEGO store from March 1, alongside the release of dozens of full LEGO models launching on that date.
