BrickLink has revealed its own take on Spotify Wrapped, revealing big numbers for LEGO sets, pieces, BDP votes and more from the past year.
It’s been a very busy 12 months for BrickLink, as evidenced by a new post on the company's various social media platforms. Taking a leaf out of the Spotify Wrapped annual playbook, the online marketplace has revealed all kinds of interesting stats related to the biggest-selling sets and pieces on its site in 2025, as well as Studio uploads, BrickLink Designer Program votes and more.
Those numbers make for some surprising reading and provide a unique snapshot into the kinds of traffic levels that BrickLink has experienced this year. For instance, the Wrapped list has revealed that no less than 494 million LEGO pieces have been traded during 2025 so far, along with 1.3 million sets and a staggering 2.8 million minifigures.
What’s more, the most popular piece on BrickLink over the past year was apparently a 1x2 Bright Pink plate, so maybe builders have been assembling their own versions of the life-size Cadillac recently spotted at the Las Vegas Grand Prix?
The BrickLink Wrapped list goes on to state that blue was the favourite colour of 2025, although there are no details as to which specific hue that might have been, there were a whopping 93,000 uploads to its Studio Gallery, 8.2 million BDP votes have been cast, along with 30,000 catalogue contributions and 28,000 forum posts.
While BrickLink’s Wrapped reveals are clearly intended to highlight the success the site has had this year, they’re still facing a community backlash from a recent announcement regarding the upcoming closure of stores across 35 countries.
BrickLink has taken flack for the way in which it revealed those closures, although the shuttering of those stores has now been delayed until January 31, 2026 and been accompanied by an apology from CEO Steven Lee.
