One of the best gifts-with-purchase in recent memory, 40762 Mixed Flowerpot is the kind of LEGO set that will pull you in regardless of whether you already own any Botanicals blooms.
Available from today until March 21 (or while stocks last) with all orders above £135 / $150 / €150, 40762 Mixed Flowerpot serves up a bite-size version of 10345 Flower Arrangement, complete with a tiny white pot (of sorts) on which to place its various plants. It’s the sort of thing the LEGO Group could easily have packaged and sold as a regular set, but is instead here offering the opportunity to get it for free.
That’s good news for anyone who was planning to place an order at LEGO.com in this period anyway, but even if you weren’t, it’s worth reconsidering just to get your hands on 40762 Mixed Flowerpot. This is easily one of the best ‘GWP that should have been a regular set’ GWPs in a good while, and is definitely worth reaching that threshold – which by current standards is relatively mid-range – to add it to your collection.
The same rings true whether you already have a bunch of LEGO Botanicals blooms littered around your house or have yet to dabble in this budding theme. It’s gone from strength to strength over the past year or so, moving away from novelty for novelty’s sake in its part usage and instead concentrating on making its flowers and plants as realistic as possible – and the same ethos runs through every stem and petal of 40762 Mixed Flowerpot.
To that end, fair warning: if this is your first taste of the LEGO Botanicals range, it’s sure to pull you in and convince you to start a full collection. Which is probably the entire point of making it a gift-with-purchase. But when they’re this good, it’s difficult to complain…
40762 Mixed Flowerpot is available until March 21 (or while stocks last) with all orders above £135 / $150 / €150.
