LEGO Batman 2026 sets are missing a few minifigures

A trio of minifigures are surprisingly missing-in-action from three upcoming LEGO Batman 20th anniversary sets due out next year.

The LEGO Group revealed an all-new line-up of LEGO DC sets for 2026 today, celebrating 20 years since the first Batman minifigure was released. 76330 Batman Logo, 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, 76332 The Batman Batmobile and 76333 Batman & Robin Batmobile are due to drop on March 1, complete with codes for exclusive digital content.

While all four LEGO DC models include new versions of the Dark Knight himself, only one minifigure will be included with each build. Sure, fresh torso and leg printing is certainly appreciated, as is a new shoulder armour piece for 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile’s Batfleck minifigure, but we can’t help feeling like something is missing.

For instance, 76181 Batmobile: Penguin Chase was released in 2022, a 383-piece set with minifigures of The Batman and The Penguin, priced at £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99. Fast forward four years and we’ll be getting 76332 The Batman Batmobile with just a single Robert Battinson minifigure, with no waddling villain to fight, but for the exact same cost and less pieces.

Likewise, there’s no Superman minifigure included with 76331 Batman v Superman Batmobile, so those who pick up the LEGO DC build can forget recreating their own ‘versus’ battles. The same goes for 76333 Batman & Robin Batmobile, which comes with the first-ever minifigure of George Clooney’s Dark Knight (minus Bat-nipples), yet there’s no sign of his crimefighting partner, Chris O’Donnell’s Robin.

Of course, it’s always possible to pick up any suitable missing minifigures on the secondary market to round out the builds, but their inclusion with the upcoming LEGO DC 2026 sets would surely have made the 20th anniversary models even more of a must-have.
