There's bad news for anyone wanting to pick up the new LEGO 71048 Series 27 minifigures down under as the collection isn't out just yet
While 71048 Series 27's 12 new minifigures have launched as planned in many regions this week, LEGO enthusiasts in Australia and New Zealand will not be able to pick up the series until next month.
The official online store has revealed that the latest LEGO Collectible Minifigures series is not to be released until February 1 in Australia and New Zealand despite launching around the world on January 1 in stores and online. Thankfully, the wait isn't that long but the series is still planned to retire in April 2024 at the time of writing, leaving some fans with potentially less time to finish their collections.

Those looking to collect some or all of the new minifigures can download Brick Search for iOS or Android and then upgrade to Brick Search Plus to get unlimited use of the best-ever LEGO minifigure scanner using the codes on the bottom of every box.
71048 Series 27 is confirmed to launch in Australia and New Zealand on February 1 and in the meantime, dozens of new models are now available to pick up, play with and display in stores and online. Click here for a full list of the new models.
71048 Series 27 is available now in most regions for £3.49 / $4.99 / €3.99 per box and you can read our thorough review of the series by clicking here.
