The newly-revealed LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71046 Series 26 celebrates all things LEGO space, referencing several classic themes in its cast.
71046 Series 26 has 12 characters to collect from May 1, tying into the huge 2024 space range spanning across multiple themes and focusing on the cosmos more than any other series of minifigures ever has.
Considering how often LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series have referenced the various Space themes over the past 45 years, it only makes sense for 71046 Series 26 to have as many as feasibly possible. We've outlined the various Easter eggs in the new minifigures that we've spotted so far in 71046 Series 25 ahead of its release on May 1.
A pink Spacebaby
Joining the blue Spacebaby in
Ice Planet 2002
Orange transparent chainsaws are back as a new Ice Planet 2002 minifigure complete with a penguin in the iconic suit is coming in 71046 Series 26. The helmet is a new element as well.
Blacktron II
Making use of the multi-limbed minifigure arm is a minifigure in a Blacktron II (or Blacktron Future Generation in the US) uniform, though they're an unusual minifigure for more than just the multi-limbed arm.
M-Tron
M-Tron is referenced in 710426 Series 26 too complete with what appears to be at least a couple of new pieces and some detailed leg printing that could be useful for other minifigures.
A familiar logo
Even the realistic astronaut includes a smaller Easter egg for Classic Space as the familiar emblem is featured on the torso. This is common for LEGO astronauts of all kinds but it's still good to see the tradition continue.
