LEGO Technic 42152 Firefighter Aircraft available to pre-order now

LEGO Technic 42152 Firefighter Aircraft is now available to pre-order at the official online store, ahead of its wide release on March 1.

One of four new LEGO Technic sets debuting on March 1, 42152 Firefighter Aircraft includes 1,134 pieces, and is billed primarily as an education model for kids. Suitable for builders aged 10+, its functions apparently mimic those of real-life fire planes, with spinning propellors, retractable landing gear and moving tail flaps.

The aircraft also includes a function to dispense water, represented by trans-blue round 2x2 bricks, which is released by opening a hatch in the vehicle’s body. The substantial final build comes in at 18cm tall, a whopping 59cm long and 60cm wide, so you’ll need a decent display space to accommodate it – either on a shelf or, better yet, hanging from the ceiling.

42152 Firefighter Aircraft is the second-biggest LEGO Technic set currently on the cards for 2023, and will join 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, 42154 2022 Ford GT and 42155 The Batman – Batcycle on shelves on March 1, 2023. 42152 Firefighter Aircraft is the only one of the four new LEGO Technic sets currently available for pre-order online, with a shipping date of March 1. Also up for pre-order at the moment are three new LEGO Star Wars helmets and two Botanical Collection sets, though availability varies by region.
