LEGO 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan revealed

A proper look at LEGO 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan has been officially revealed, and a series of gifts is now confirmed.

After images appeared on the LEGO Product Certification page earlier this month, the official online store in Saudi Arabia has now officially revealed 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan. The themed food stand is topped with a piece of nigiri sushi, and though the interior is somewhat bare, there's enough room for the included chef to prepare meals for customers.

With 289 pieces, we still don't know when this gift-with-purchase will be offered, but the LEGO Group typically adds listings for GWPs shortly before they are available with a qualifying purchase. The description confirms that the set is 'part of the collectible Restaurants of the World series', indicating that just as with the shop and house-equivalent collections, there will be a full range of these food stall gifts-with-purchase.

Those previous collections were offered throughout a single year, but this is not currently confirmed to be the case with the Restaurants of the World range. Either way, we can admire the images while we wait for this gift to be offered on LEGO.com.
