LEGO 40707 Year of the Snake gift-with-purchase revealed

The next zodiac animal gift-with-purchase for 2025 has been revealed as images of LEGO 40707 Year of the Snake slither to the online store.

The LEGO Group's official online store in Japan has officially revealed 40707 Year of the Snake, joining the list of LEGO zodiac animal gifts-with-purchase that are offered at the start of every year. This follows 40611 Year of the Dragon in 2024 and the 174-piece set isn't quite as colourful and fantastical as the dragon model.

The snake recreation depicts the animal in a coiled position on a round base, as is usually the case for these gifts-with-purchase.

For 174 pieces, it is valued at 1,481 yen and can be removed from the base. A release date for this gift-with-purchase has not been revealed at the time of writing, but these are usually available at the start of each year.

As we near 2025 hopefully, we'll find out more about how to get this gift-with-purchase but in the meantime, the description confirms that the usual red envelope is included to fill with a gift for someone special.
