The official name of an upcoming LEGO GWP has been confirmed, with 40610 Winter Fun VIP Add-On Pack due to arrive sometime in 2023.
Thanks to a listing on the LEGO online store in Singapore, we recently had our first look at a mysterious upcoming GWP that's due to drop before the end of the year. Initial details surrounding 40610 stated that it would be a 142-piece set with a price of $14.90 SGD.
The listing also included two lifestyle images of the promotional item, revealing that the contents of the polybag would be seasonally-themed with elements such as a selection of skis, a snowboard, a squirrel, a guitar, an axe and various pieces of greenery.
Now, thanks to the official Malaysian LEGO online store, we have official confirmation of the GWP’s full title, with the listing updated as being 40610 Winter Fun VIP Add-On Pack. Beyond the product name, there are no additional details regarding the set, such as when it will be available or what the spending threshold will be to obtain the polybag.
There are currently two GWPs available online and in-stores, with 40609 Christmas Fun Add-On Pack free for LEGO Insiders who place orders of £45 / $50 / €50 and over until November 16 and 40595 Tribute to Galileo Galilei with purchases above £115 / $130 / €130 until November 16.
In addition, the upcoming 76269 Avengers Tower will also be getting its own GWP when it launches on November 24 (Black Friday). LEGO Insiders who pick up the set will receive 5008076 LEGO Marvel Taxi, complete with Black Panther, a taxi driver and two Outrider minifigures.
