LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village's minifigures are going to be useful

LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village has four unique minifigures, all of which are going to be useful with future and existing sets.

Launching on October 1 for £124.99 / $129.99 / €139.99, 21343 Viking Village has four exclusive minifigures of a blacksmith, chieftain, shield-maiden and an archer. As exciting as the model is, their parts and accessories will be useful additions to your collection – both for existing and upcoming sets.

It's no secret that 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent is the perfect companion set to 21343 Viking Village, though it's retiring soon. The colours of the three printed shields in 21343 Viking Village correspond to some of the brick-built shields in 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent. There's nearly enough for one side and provided you don't mind missing a shield, you can greatly improve the details of one side of 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent on display.

The prints on the minifigures in 21343 Viking Village have a historic flair that should make them work great for custom minifigures. Two of the torsos are duplicates from 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent but most of them are brand new and will fit in nicely with 10316 The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell for any custom The Lord of the Rings minifigures you have in mind.

The upcoming LEGO Ideas Dungeons and Dragons set – based on Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End by BoltBuilds will benefit from the new and existing minifigure prints in 21343 Viking Village for custom characters. Given the island-based nature of the proposed LEGO Ideas design, the two sets should theoretically look great on display next to one another as well.

The possibilities are extensive but you'll still need to wait until October 1 to pick up this new LEGO Ideas set.
