Last chance to design gift-with-purchase in LEGO Ideas challenge

Time is running out to design a future LEGO Ideas gift-with-purchase with minimal restrictions as multiple challenges stop accepting entries soon.

While the '80s IP challenge has faced a small delay, two other ongoing LEGO Ideas challenges will both stop accepting entries soon. Aside from their massive prize packages, the most exciting LEGO Ideas challenge is offering the chance to design a future gift-with-purchase.

The GWP challenge has almost no restrictions. You'll just need to make sure that your submission is made up of between 150 and 250 pieces and doesn't include any references to third-party licences such as Star Wars or Harry Potter. Other than that, you're encouraged to get creative but be quick as the entry intake period closes on April 24.

You may need to resubmit your entry should the LEGO Ideas team reject your submission at first and we'd advise allowing a couple of days for the process, though you may see your project accepted the first time.

The grand prize for this contest includes 10 copies of the winning gift-with-purchase, 21345 Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera21346 Family Tree21347 Red London Telephone Box21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale and 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad. Two runners-up will receive just the last two sets.

As well as the GWP challenge, LEGO Ideas users should keep in mind that the Senna challenge stops accepting entries on April 23 too. You can find out more by clicking here.

Prizes for this challenge include 10330 McLaren MP4/410326 Natural History Museum, 10320 Eldorado Fort76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Car, and 42169 NEOM McLaren Formula E Racing Car, as well as a package of McLaren prizes for the winner and just 10330 McLaren MP4/4, 42141 McLaren Formula 1 Race Car and 76919 2023 McLaren Formula 1 Car for two runners-up.

There are many LEGO Ideas sets rumoured to release later this year, including the upcoming Jaws model which recently received a rumoured price and release date.
