Last chance to help design the first LEGO Yu-Gi-Oh set

There's one more day to enter the LEGO Ideas Yu-Gi-Oh challenge and be in with the chance to help design the first set based on the anime.

Yu-Gi-Oh will soon follow in the footsteps of LEGO One Piece and Pokémon, as well as possibly Dragon Ball, in the list of anime-adjacent properties under the LEGO Group's partnership umbrella. LEGO Yu-Gi-Oh started last month in the form of a LEGO Ideas contest, inviting enthusiasts to submit designs based on two specific arcs of the anime, one of which will become a future official set.

That contest currently has 169 entries, covering all kinds of scenes and monsters, and the challenge will continue to accept submissions for just over 21 hours from now. This period of the contest should close around March 10 at 12:00pm GMT.

There's still just enough time to finish designing something, or put together something smaller, and have it checked and submitted in the challenge before the review and fan vote start. Every entry that makes it to the fan vote stage will also win five LEGO Ideas sets, including both of the life-sized LEGO cats.

The grand prize also includes the opportunity to have your model turned into a real LEGO Ideas set, 1% of total net sales, 10 complimentary copies of the set, and credit and a bio as the LEGO Ideas Fan Designer in the set materials.

Make sure that your entry uses up to 2,000 pieces and no fewer than 400 pieces and is based on one of the two specific arcs to be in with a chance of winning. You can find the full guidelines and enter the competition on the contest page.
