How To Train Your Dragon director and star build new LEGO Icons set

How To Train Your Dragon star Gerard Butler and director Dean DeBlois have turned their hand to the newly-revealed LEGO Icons 10375 Toothless.

Actor Gerard Butler, who plays Stoic in the upcoming live-action How To Train Your Dragon, walked the director of the movie, Dean DeBlois, through building the LEGO fish that's included as a tasty snack in 10375 Toothless. Drawing a comparison between working creatively on a movie and putting your creativity into a LEGO set, the pair manage to piece the tiny fish together, with only Butler able to see the instructions.

The video also gives a little insight into how the fish comes together, with the head and tail seemingly attached by hinges, allowing them to move around as Toothless 'shakes' the fish in his mouth.

"Our first official LEGO Toothless," said DeBlois when he finished assembling the fish. "Here's to many more creations, both on screen and in brick form."

Could Butler be hinting at more LEGO How To Train Your Dragon sets to come? It's most likely just an offhand comment about creating more models out of LEGO – but we can only hope there are more on the way, perhaps one with a more realistic depiction of the franchise.

LEGO Icons 10375 Toothless is available to pre-order now ahead of its release on July 1, retailing for £59.99 in the UK, $69.99 in the US, and €69.99 in Europe.
