If you’re not sure how the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure works, here’s all you need to know about the latest LEGO Fortnite x Star Wars content.
The LEGO Group and Epic Games celebrated this year’s May the 4th event with a huge Star Wars content drop in Fortnite. New additions to Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival all began arriving on May 3, 2024, allowing players to combine their favourite games with various elements from a galaxy far, far away.
One of the key pieces of content that’s now available in LEGO Fortnite is the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure, which includes free and premium rewards. Thanks to the v29.40 update, players can battle against the forces of the Empire, while attempting to build and defend a Rebel base using unlockable sets and other items.

The latest opening cutscene for LEGO Fortnite now shows an Imperial Star Destroyer emerging from a huge rift in the sky, pursued by Rebel ships. The vessel crash lands on a new island in the game, which will remain in the game beyond v29.40. The Empire immediately begins constructing a series of base camps that players have to try and infiltrate.
To start your LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure, you’ll need to locate it in either the main lobby or the Fortnite Shop. The LEGO Pass is free to obtain, but there’s also a premium track upgrade which instantly unlocks the Chewbacca Style in Fortnite, its accompanying LEGO Style and 11 more rewards for 1,400 V-Bucks.

Once the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure has been selected, players will be presented with a series of quests to complete, with successful progression earning them studs. These studs can then in turn be used to buy all kinds of in-game décor, builds, Styles and more items.
There are 10 Décor Bundles in the free reward track, with the Mos Eisley Marketplace Build being the final reward. The premium track has four Décor Bundles and seven Builds inspired by Tatooine, including the Dusty Durrr Burger Build as a bonus reward in addition to the free reward track unlockables.
Upon starting the LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure, players will receive a pair of Macrobinoculars from Captain Bravara that point them to the Rebel village. However, the ragtag base isn’t much to speak of initially, which is where your assistance will come in. Completing objectives from the pass, such as supplying resources and constructing buildings, will allow the village to level up all the way to Level 10.
Imperial bases (which are often found in caves) may be destroyed, allowing you to grab their resources, or you can always just leave them standing, along with the wreck of the crashed Star Destroyer. Resources can then be used to unlock the essential Plastoid recipe and create a Rebel Workbench, which in turn may be utilised to craft essential items and weapons.
Speaking of which, the v29.40 update also brings with it the Wookiee Bowcaster (requiring Durasteel), DL-44 Blaster, E-11 Blaster (from Scrap Durasteel), Thermal Detonator and Lightsaber. The latter is a very handy weapon to have in the game, although it does need time to recharge after combat.
In addition, a number of LEGO Style outfits are also now available to either unlock or purchase in LEGO Fortnite. These include Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, AWR Trooper, Darth Vader, Krrsantan, Mandalorian, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, Kylo Ren and many others.
The LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure is only available until July 23, 2024, but its free rewards, premium rewards and Chewbacca Style may well appear in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.
