Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, 76240 Batmobile Tumbler is a large-scale recreation of the iconic vehicle. It carries an RRP of £229.99, but Argos now has it for £189.00. That’s an 18% saving on the full price.

The Tumbler is an unusual version of the Batmobile, which first appeared in 2005’s Batman Begins. Within the context of the film it’s an abandoned military prototype, which Bruce Wayne adopts in his fight against crime. It’s earned several different LEGO versions over the years, but 76240 Batmobile Tumbler is amongst the most impressive.
Measuring 45cm long and 25cm wide, this model recreates the brutish armour plating of the onscreen version. It also retains exterior features such as the massive wheels and rear jet booster, with an information plaque detailing its attributes. The entire model can be attached to a brick-built display stand, which allows the Tumbler to rotate independently of the stand itself.
The interior of the Tumbler features various details such as a steering column, computer screens, and driver and passenger seats. Two minifigures and an additional display stand are also provided; these recreate Christian Bale’s Batman and Heath Ledger’s Joker, making them an excellent addition to any collection. Each one comes with extensive torso and leg printing, reinforcing the fact this is a premium product.
