Gamescom is held once a year in Cologne, Germany, but you can (almost) experience it for yourself in pictures and videos from the ground.
The big LEGO announcement that has come out of Gamescom is LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, a new video game coming out next year. We've gathered together everything we know about the upcoming game here, but there's plenty of other LEGO-fied displays and activities to dig into from Gamescom 2025.
The LEGO Group had its own booth at Gamescom and those who could attend in person in Germany have been sharing pictures and videos of what it's like on the ground.

The booth itself is packed full of displays both little and large. Themes that have a gaming hook – like LEGO Fortnite, Minecraft, Super Mario, and even One Piece – have got life-sized display models, as well as examples of purchasable sets in cases for people to look at up close. The largest display model by far appears to be a giant version of the Going Merry ship, 'floating' in a bed of blue LEGO bricks.
There's also a store there for visitors to buy LEGO sets at if they so choose. Other activities for people attending Gamescom to get stuck into include build challenges and digital activities geared towards a LEGO audience.

Of course, there's also the chance to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, housed within a huge Batman-themed section of the convention, put together by TT Games and Warner Bros. A mock-up cinema highlights the debut of the game, with various LEGO and regular Batman memorabilia dotted around outside.
Within, there are booths for visitors to play a trial of the game, with early looks at the gameplay found here.
