Game director shares anniversary LEGO Star Wars Jedi alternate build

It's the second anniversary of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and to celebrate, the game's UI director has shared a delightfully outlandish alternate build.

The LEGO Group's Star Wars Jedi representation has been limited so far, but with a third game on the way and the first Cal Kestis minifigure currently on shelves in 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer, it's not a bad time to build a custom Turgle figure using a LEGO Creator set.

Jordan DeVries, the UI / UX director for the Star Wars Jedi franchise, has come up with such a design as an alternate build of 31151 T. rex. The set is available now for £54.99 / $59.99 / €59.99, and the custom instructions are free on Rebrickable.

For those who don't recognise the quirky frog character, Turgle served as the lovable comedic relief of the Star Wars Jedi sequel and quickly became a fan favourite character, especially for the brilliant voice acting work from Richard Steven Horvitz.

The custom Turgle figure has an impressive amount of moving parts, from his legs to his mouth, and a tongue accessory is even included in the design. It's the kind of build that will pair perfectly with the retired 75335 BD-1 and the currently available Cal Kestis minifigure in 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer.

It's a great build for the anniversary of the game, and the fact that it has come from an experienced custom LEGO model maker and someone who is working on the franchise makes it all the more special.

Those tempted by the custom Turgle figure will be interested to know that Cal Kestis (and the rest of 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer) are going to be in a double LEGO Insiders points deal during the LEGO May the 4th event, which in turn is starting on May 1, 2025.
