LEGO builders in Ireland and Northern Ireland can head to their local Smyths Toys Superstore today and pick up a free brick-built shamrock set.
March 17 is celebrated annually as St. Patrick’s Day and the LEGO Group usually marks the occasion with some sort of special promotional make and take event. That doesn’t seem to be the case this year though, with only two Easter-themed activities currently up for grabs in LEGO Stores this month.
However, Smyths Toys Superstores in Ireland and Northern Ireland are offering up their own LEGO incentive as part of St. Patrick’s Day, with visitors able to pick up a free shamrock build. The event has already kicked off and will last for the rest of today, with the promotional model only available while stocks last.

The LEGO build looks to be identical to 6501726 Shamrock, a small 50-piece set that was first given away at the opening of the LEGO Store in Blanchardstown, Dublin last year. The set features a black base with a simple green shamrock to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the instructions for the model are shown above.
Last year, the LEGO Store in Dublin hosted its own St. Patrick’s Day event, with a different shamrock build available, but there’s no similar freebie up for grabs in 2024.

To find out if your local Smyths Toys Superstore is hosting the LEGO Shamrock make and take event this weekend, head to the retailer’s site for more information regarding the promotional giveaway.
