Get your trainers on and prepare for a free LEGO Nike football event taking place in London starting next week, including a bus to board.
It's not just the free LEGO Bluey set giveaway that you'll want to add to your calendar; there's a free LEGO Nike event taking place in London starting next week, and you'll need to sign up to book a slot. The Play London website has confirmed that the Play Pavilion for the International Day of Play was only the first part in a campaign encouraging play.
Part two will be in partnership with Nike and consist of a week-long Play Arena, where kids are invited to test their football skills through reimagined drills and creative challenges. You can also join the extended experience and take a ride on the Brick Bus, which will take you to the Play Pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery for Nike and LEGO workshops.
The Play Arena will be located at Warren Sports Pitch, Whitfield Place in London and will be open from July 19 to 27. You will need to sign up and book a slot by clicking here, and the experience is for kids aged 9–14. Note that slots are only open for weekends, suggesting that the experience is actually open July 19, 20, 26 and 27, despite what is stated otherwise.
By going through the booking process, you'll gain access to a more in-depth description of what to expect at the Play Arena. This includes challenges such as LEGO table football and light-based precision challenges. There's also a chance for kids to create a personalised LEGO minifigure trading card decked in Nike outfits, as well as a chance to try out the new generation of the Nike Phantom Boots.
It should be a fun LEGO Nike experience, but no slots are available at the time of writing. Hopefully, more will open up as we approach the start of the event. Otherwise, we can also only hope that the experience will be shared online for those not in attendance to see.
In the meantime,
