US retailer Barnes & Noble will be hosting a free make and take event this month, with a festive LEGO Holiday Train Snow Globe up for grabs.
As we begin the countdown to this year's festive season, more and more Christmas-themed LEGO promotions are starting to pop up. For instance, Smyths Toys Superstores in the UK recently announced an in-store event that took place this weekend, with a free brick-built LEGO bauble available to visitors.
Over in the US, Barnes & Noble is also preparing for its own jolly in-store promotion, which is due to be held from November 8 to November 10. Those in attendance at their local B&N store can participate in a special make and take event, by assembling their own LEGO Holiday Train Snow Globe.
The free model boasts a tiny red, green, yellow and black engine in a festive setting, which is then displayed inside a transparent globe element. While we only have one image to go by, it doesn’t look as if shaking the snow globe will have any effect, but we’re hoping that the set might at least have some sort of movement feature built in.
Those in the US who want to get their hands on the exclusive LEGO Holiday Train Snow Globe will need to sign up online at the Barnes & Noble website in advance to secure a spot at their local store. The model is strictly limited to one set per person (while stocks last), with timings for the build event varying from location to location.
