Five things we want to see in Star Wars: Ahsoka's finale

The finale of Star Wars: Ahsoka is almost here and with plenty of storylines to finish up all in one episode, there's a lot we want to see.

After weeks of exciting episodes, Star Wars: Ahsoka's finale is just hours away, on the ninth anniversary of Star Wars: Rebels no less. The full range of LEGO sets based on the series is also available online and in stores, in case you find yourself wanting a minifigure of Ahsoka or Sabine after the finale.

With so many threads to resolve in one episode, there's a lot of ground that the finale could cover, unless there's a cliffhanger for a second season, similar to Loki (which just so happens to return later this week too). Suffice it to say that this article will feature spoilers for the entirety of Star Wars: Ahsoka, streaming now on Disney+.

From the perspective of both LEGO and Star Wars enthusiasts, here are five things we'd like to see in Star Wars: Ahsoka's finale

The Chimera in action

The Chimera Star Destroyer, as identified by the unique design on the underside, is likely to return once more in the finale but so far it has only been used as a base. Assuming that Thrawn will leave Peridea's atmosphere and head to the giant hyperdrive ring, we'd like to see the Chimera in action. This could be either firing down on the planet or at Ahsoka's shuttle as they try to intervene to showcase its immense power and whatever modifications may have been made to it.

Ezra going home

While the fates of the Ahsoka cast have yet to be seen and with a Mandoverse crossover movie confirmed to be on the way from Dave Filoni, it might be time for Ezra to finally return home, or at least in the right galaxy. Whether any of the characters will return to the more familiar galaxy far, far away has yet to be seen.

Baylan's hunt

Baylan has split off from Shin seemingly permanently as he pursues a great force on Peridea. Shrouded entirely in mystery, it would be nice to see some resolution to this story in the finale, but it could be better saved to be fully explored in the future too.

A full Star Wars: Rebels reunion

So far, we have seen Hera, Sabine and Chopper reunite. However, now that Ezra has been found and hopefully returning home later today, a true reunion of the Star Wars: Rebels crew would top off the series in a big way. Remember that we already saw Zeb in live-action in The Mandalorian too.

A tease for more of the new galaxy

Now that Star Wars has fully debuted a whole new galaxy in live-action, it seems unlikely that the franchise's exploration of it will be limited to just one planet. Whether it be a tease of the origins of the Nightsisters or another threat, we'd love a tease of more from this new galaxy far, far away.
