Rumours of a new LEGO Batcave set for next summer have surfaced and there are a few things we need and are likely to get in such a model.
Following
Given the LEGO Group's extensive history with brick-built Batcaves, there's much we can look at to get an idea of what to expect from this rumoured build, including some improvements to hope for. Here are five things we need in the rumoured LEGO 2025 Batcave model, but take all rumours with caution until more details are confirmed.
5 – The Bat-Family

In recent iterations, it's become more common for LEGO Batcave sets to feature more than just Batman and Robin and another big Batcave build would be a great opportunity to include the entire Bat-Family, from Nightwing to Batgirl. Nightwing has been missing from LEGO sets since 2020 and this would be another suitable place for him alongside the rumoured Arkham Asylum set.
4 – A suit changer

A practically guaranteed feature in the rumoured LEGO Batcave set is a suit changer as this has been present in most iterations of the Batcave. It usually consists of an elevated chamber in which one minifigure is switched for another to represent Bruce Wayne quickly changing into Batman. It's a fun but simple function that has worked consistently in LEGO Batcave models.
3 – A Bat-vehicle

While there are plenty of Batmobile models of all shapes and sizes throughout LEGO DC, a different kind of Batman-themed vehicle would be a good inclusion in the rumoured Batcave set. Most iterations of the Batcave in LEGO include one ranging from the Batwing to bikes and boats.
2 – A new or rare villain

For $99.99, the rumoured LEGO Batcave set would theoretically have a significant budget compared to most LEGO DC sets and as such, it would be a great chance to include a rare or brand-new villain. Options for characters invading the cave include Bane, Poison Ivy, Clayface and Deathstroke but the possibilities are endless.
1 – The Batcomputer

Also likely for the rumoured LEGO Batcave is a new take on the Batcomputer as one has been present in every LEGO version of the location to date. It would be a chance for many references to the wider world of DC and while it would be best suited to a rectangular shape, 70909 Batcave Break-In proved that the computer can come in all shapes and sizes, including a bat.
