First look at Star Wars: Skeleton Crew characters

A new piece of Star Wars: Skeleton merchandise has revealed more of the series' cast as rumours swirl of a possible LEGO Star Wars set.

As reported by IGN and Jedi News, UK retailer HMV as well as other online retailers have added listings overnight for a limited edition Star Wars ingot joining a long line of similar merchandise. There's a twist with this product though as it has revealed the best look yet at the characters of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew as it goes up for pre-order ahead of May 31.

The box art and the ingot feature five characters including four children and what appears to be a droid. Jude Law's force-user character appears to be missing on both unless the droid is actually a helmet. The droid or helmeted figure is missing from the box art, where the four children are featured in full colour.

Given what we know about Skeleton Crew's story, which will feature children trying to find their place in a huge galaxy, it would appear that these are the main characters of the show.

The four younger characters include an Ortolan – the same species as Max Rebo who last featured in LEGO Star Wars as part of 2013's 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is rumoured to be getting one LEGO Star Wars set later this year – 75374 Onyx Cinder for $139.99 / €139.99 on August 1. The rumour has yet to be officially confirmed and should be taken with caution but it could be a chance for a second LEGO Ortolan minifigure.
