Take a first look at the brand new LEGO Star Wars Dark Falcon, TIE Wing and X-Fighter in hand, thanks to some very cool images snapped by a toy photographer.
The LEGO Group sent out its first two LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy sets to toy photographer Shundeez ahead of their official reveal yesterday, which meant the shutterbug had images ready to go in time for their unveiling. The official LEGO Facebook page has now shared those snaps to its 15 million followers, giving us all a first impression of the new ships in hand.

Their shots of the Dark Falcon show off its minifigures and interior, meanwhile, taking the action to Tatooine (where else?) with its sandy plains and twin suns. Darth Rey notably has a regular lightsaber hilt here for her double blades, suggesting an additional piece could be included in the set to represent her hinged hilt fully opened (alongside a pair of binoculars for when it’s hinged shut).
This is also our best look so far at Jedi Vader, which reimagines Star Wars’ most iconic baddie in white armour – a nod to the Star Wars Infinities comic that saw Vader paint his armour post-redemption. If you’re going to convince the galaxy you’re a good guy again, you’ve got to look the part.
